Based in São Paulo, I’ve managed remote developers across countries and built applications reaching millions of users. My career spans Brazil and Canada, from financial systems to global game platforms.
My career took me from São Paulo to Brossard and Montréal. Living and working in Canada, alongside my experience in Brazil, gave me first-hand experience of different working cultures and international collaboration.

Live game backend
ALWAYSGEEKY GAMES · 2022 — PRESENT
Designed and operated the backend behind a live game. Enabled designers to manage the experience independently and led a critical production migration without interrupting players or payments.
The challenge
Build a cohesive backend for a live game: player identity, inventory, progression, purchases, and the tools to run it.
The architecture
A six-layer serverless architecture across six microservices and two background workers. Thirteen npm workspaces and 124 database models, with type-safe access through Prisma and Kysely.
The delivery
Sole architect and developer of a 54,000-line TypeScript backend, supported by a 34,000-line test suite. Built a 176-route SvelteKit operations dashboard so game designers could update the live experience without a deploy.
A critical migration
Removed three chain dependencies from the money-handling production backend in five days, with zero outages and no maintenance window.
Engineering management & technical leadership

Managed remote developers across countries, set technical direction, and aligned engineering delivery with product and business priorities. Supported teams through hiring, shared standards, and hands-on architecture.
Managing people and delivery
Managed three teams totaling 11 developers across experience levels while retaining Technical Lead responsibilities. Led remote developers across countries, organized delivery, and coordinated with product owners, QA teams, and other engineering leads.
Business and technical direction
Owned goals, strategy, and roadmaps for customer engagement and retention across Ubisoft’s main products. Negotiated requirements directly with business and executive groups in Cary, North Carolina, and San Francisco, translating business needs into architecture and delivery priorities.
Hiring across countries
Established the technical interview process behind more than 30 hires across Canada, the US, France, and Romania. Trained interviewers and supported recruitment for teams beyond my own.
Shared engineering foundations
Defined architecture and standards that teams could reuse across global web projects. Created Daileon, a React framework adopted across Ubisoft, so teams could launch new game websites from configuration. Automated deployment through serverless and container-based AWS pipelines.
Products delivered
Led work on Gameplan video tutorials, the Help Content Service for web and console, and Glass for direct player feedback to game development teams.
Global player platforms
UBISOFT · 2015 — 2022
